e-Invoices FAQ
Are there security concerns with e-Invoicing?
In fact, e-Invoices are more secure than people think. The e-Invoicing system is protected through secure transmission methods, encryption, and authentication mechanisms. As a business, you should adopt e-Invoicing platforms that adhere to robust security standards.
Should I send e-Invoices every day?
You can send the e-Invoice immediately after issuing it, but you can also send it in the following days. However, to make sure that you won’t forget, it’s recommended that you send it immediately.
Are there any legal repercussions if I don’t send the e-invoice?
Currently, there are no legal provisions for imposing sanctions if you fail to submit the e-Invoice. However, the situation will likely change starting in 2024. So, we recommend that you’re careful and send your e-Invoices.
How can my clients access their e-Invoice if they are not legal entities?
If your clients are natural individuals (not legal entities), you can simply email them the traditional invoice or print it. The e-Invoice is just a different format of the document that you generate. The two formats of the document are not mutually exclusive, and you do have the obligation to provide the client with the form that is accessible to him.
