Amendments
A contract amendment can also be encountered as a contract variation and aims to make mutual changes that all the parties involved have already agreed upon on a contract that already exists. You also need to be aware that a contract amendment is a separate legal document that must revise the definition, terms, clauses, or sections mentioned in an existing business agreement.
A contract amendment can not just add but also cut specific clauses that are mentioned in the original contract that have been signed and agreed upon by the parties involved. In other words, amendments are used when different businesses or individuals forget or don’t mention specific clauses that became mandatory for the parties involved. Consider payment updates or changes regarding the schedule, time, or day.
Even more so, an amendment can change the terms included in a contract and its length. If you want to change the price or the fees involved, you can do that with contract amendments.
