Purchase Order
A purchase agreement contains the terms and conditions and all the extra information regarding the pricing, the dates, or any details the parties involved have agreed upon. It is usually established between a business owner and a seller, who commit to buying the items offered at preset prices and delivery dates. Purchase orders are a mandatory agreement that helps avoid conflicts and maintain order in the supply chain process.
Regarding the needed situation, there are four available types of purchase orders as the ones listed below:
- Standard Purchase Orders (PO)
- Planned Purchase Orders (PPO)
- Blanket Purchase Orders (BPO)
- Contract Purchase Orders (CPO)
